Morro Bay State Park LOCATED IN IN SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, USA

Morro Bay State Park features lagoon and natural bay habitat. The Morro rock is a remnant volcanic plug that has emerged from the Pacific Ocean more than 20 million years ago. Now it has become a protected nesting ground for numerous peregrine falcons. There is more than 200 bird species recorded and a yearly bird festival known as the Morrow Bay Winter Bird Festival is held each year in January.
